Festival Season is Just Around the Corner

The Koroneburg Old World Festival (1450-1600) is set on fictitious estate of the Baron Heinrich Von Lauffer, located along the Rhine river (aka Santa Ana River) between Mainz and Strasbourg. Each year the Baron invites the finest minds and most talented actors to celebrate the coming of spring at his Barony of Koroneburg. The festival celebrates the inventions and changes of the renaissance period.

Running from Mother’s Day weekend to Father’s Day (May 12th – June 17th).

TIMES:     11:00am – 7:00pm Saturdays
11:00am – 6:00pm Sundays (and Memorial Day)
Open until 9:00pm on May 26 and June 16

LORE Renaissance Workshops

Join us at LORE (Loyal Order of Reenactment Enthusiasts) March 31st and April 1st, 2012. The purpose of the LORE is to provide the means through which participants; potential participants, history enthusiasts and educators can develop or expand their skills and background in world history. Required of all festival participants, but also open to the public, and just $5 for the whole weekend.

Orientation at 9am, first class at 9:30am (Saturday and Sunday).  Classes throughout the day.

UPDATE: It was good to see so many of you at LORE.  That’s it for the electives, but required classes will be offered again to participants May 5 & 6.
